Importing Financial Data
Once you’ve onboarded a customer by creating a User
and Company
in Norman, you can begin importing their financial data. This allows you to get a complete overview of their financial activities for accounting purposes. Norman can ingest the following types of data:
Bank Transactions
Import data from your customers’ business bank accounts and credit cards.
- Manually creating a transaction
- Upload a CSV (bank statement, list of orders, etc.)
- Create transactions by uploading receipts or invoices and extracting the data
- Connect to Open Banking (GoCardless, FinAPI) to automatically sync transactions from the last 180 days
Norman will automatically categorize imported or created manually transactions, calculate VAT, and assign them to the correct tax report lines (e.g., reverse charge).
Receipts
Track your customers’ expenses by importing receipt data.
Invoices
Manage and track revenue collected by your customers through imported invoices.
